Lancashire library holiday closures
All our Lancashire libraries will be closed on bank and public holidays. There are additional closures on extra statutory dates.

Answers

I bought a book on Amazon or eBay

It's a Lancashire libraries book and doesn't seem to have been withdrawn from stock.

This book was most probably sold to you legitimately.

The company who recycle our old, withdrawn and surplus books, also sells some that are still in good condition. 

These books won't have been stamped 'withdrawn'. We have been requested not to do this as stamping books or removing labels may damage the book and reduce its value.
