Lancashire library holiday closures
All our Lancashire libraries will be closed on bank and public holidays. There are additional closures on extra statutory dates.

Renewals

You can renew online or by using the automated phone line 0300 123 6704 (card number and PIN are required for both options). If you have any problems with renewals please chat with us if we are online or use the Submit a Question form below.

Answers

I have reserved a book, but my position in the queue has gone down. Why?

The 'position' of your reservation is just a guide to how long it might be until your reservation could be available. Due to the complexity of the reservation system (number of copies available, number of reservations, new stock becoming available, copies being withdrawn, books not being returned on time, etc.) it is not always 100% accurate and may fluctuate.

Please rest assured that no-one has 'jumped the queue'.
