All our Lancashire libraries will be closed on bank and public holidays. There are additional closures on extra statutory dates.

You can renew online or by using the automated phone line 0300 123 6704 (card number and PIN are required for both options). If you have any problems with renewals please chat with us if we are online or use the Submit a Question form below.

What is my number or user name for accessing library services online?

When you want to access services such as eBooks, magazines, newspapers and other services from our Digital Library, you'll need to login.

Depending on which service you are looking at, it will ask for your

Borrower number
Library barcode
Library card
Membership number
User name or ID

These are all the same thing, the fourteen digit number found on your Lancashire library card.
Enter the full number with no spaces.
If you have a really old card the number may have an 'A' in front and a 'B' after the number ignore these.

For most services you'll also be asked to enter your four digit PIN.

If you've lost your card, please report it as soon as possible.
