Lancashire library holiday closures
All our Lancashire libraries will be closed on bank and public holidays. There are additional closures on extra statutory dates.

Renewals

Answers

Can I read library eBooks on my Kindle?

If your Kindle is an Amazon Kindle eReader, e.g. a Touch or a Paperwhite, you won't be able to download or transfer a library eBook to it.
Amazon and the UK book publishers have not yet reached an agreement that would allow library eBooks to be released in a format compatible with a Kindle eReader.
Amazon Fire tablets, which are Android tablets, allow you to download the BorrowBox app from the Amazon Appstore to read our eBooks.
