You can renew online or by using the automated phone line 0300 123 6704 (card number and PIN are required for both options). If you have any problems with renewals please chat with us if we are online or use the Submit a Question form below.

How do I order a book?

You can reserve a book online by going to our library catalogue and finding the book you wish to read.

Click on 'Check Availability' to see if there is a copy you can reserve.

If a 'Reserve this item' button is showing, you can click on it to order the book.

If you are not already logged on, you will now be asked to login to your library account.

Then you will be asked to confirm your reservation and the book will be ordered for you.

If 'Not Reservable' shows instead, you can't order this copy of the book. There may be a different edition of the same book in the catalogue to reserve.

If no copies of this book are reservable or you can't find the book you want in our catalogue, we can still try to obtain a copy for you. You will just need to complete our Request an item form (this form can also be accessed at the bottom of every page of our catalogue under 'Borrowers'.
