All our Lancashire libraries will be closed on bank and public holidays. There are additional closures on extra statutory dates.

Renewals

You can renew online or by using the automated phone line 0300 123 6704 (card number and PIN are required for both options). If you have any problems with renewals please chat with us if we are online or use the Submit a Question form below.

How can I renew my library loans?

You can renew your loans:

At a Lancashire library.
Online, by logging into your library account.
By phone using our automated service 0300 123 6704 (24 hours)
By phone with our Customer Contact Centre 0300 123 6703 (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm)

To use these services you will need your library card number and your PIN.

You may be unable to login and renew or to use these services to renew your loans if

You have outstanding charges on your account
Long overdue items
Your account has expired
Your account is blocked
The books you are trying to renew have been reserved by someone else

If you can't renew for one of these reasons, Submit A Question or Chat with Us, giving your library card number and we'll try to resolve the problem for you.

Please note: If your are renewing audio-visual items, such as DVDs, these will incur an additional hire charge.

You can renew your library items up to 10 times, provided they have not been requested by somebody else.
